Antique 'Sun Purple' Pressed Glass Dish

This lovely antique “sun purple” EAPG (Early American Pressed Glass) dish was produced around the turn of the century and features a hobstar ribbon pattern.

EAPG often turns to a beautiful amethyst colour when exposed to sunlight for an extended period of time. Some call it discoloured, some (like myself) call it unique and totally beautiful! 

This dish would be great for serving nuts or candy but would also make a lovely catch-all.

In excellent condition considering its age, with no chips or cracks. There are some minor flaws around the rim made during production.

Approximately 6" long, 4.75" wide and 2" deep.
