Green Depression Glass Dish
This vibrant green depression glass dish features the Georgian Lovebirds pattern, created by Federal Glass from 1931 to 1936. The design alternates birds and baskets around the edge connected by swags, with a medallion in the center.
It has no chips or cracks but does have some expected surface scratching and scuffs. Was likely used as a serving dish but would also make a great catchall or soap dish.
I love the story of depression glass and how it brought a bit of cheer to a dark time - the vibrant colours brighten the home as well as the spirit, just as they did almost 100 years ago!
Approximately 10" long at widest point and 2.5" deep.
